Who We Are

The Medication Safety Roundtable serves as the preeminent organization for pharmacy, nursing and quality-assurance leaders, devoted to the safe, efficient use of medication in the hospital network setting. The Roundtable was founded as a multidisciplinary membership organization by DecisionHealth, which for 30 years has provided health care organizations with analysis, research and news to meet their growing accreditation, compliance, and patient-safety challenges.

The Roundtable is free of the influence of pharmaceutical companies, vendors, government and accrediting bodies. Therefore, we can provide members with unbiased research and best practices drawn from the actual experiences of similar hospitals.

We are privileged to have as members a wide diversity of hospitals from all across America, ranging from preeminent, urban, academic hospitals, to rural community facilities. Together they constitute the rich wellspring of the Roundtable’s ongoing research, and they are the first to benefit from the study findings and best-practices programs that emerge.
